Dr. Shane Hoelz was born and raised in Wisconsin, obtaining his B.S. in chemistry and human biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he graduated summa cum laude and became an Academic All-American athlete as a member of the Nordic ski team. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and continued to Rutgers University in New Jersey for his postgraduate certificate in orthodontics.
Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Hoelz lived in Manhattan and practiced in Greater New York City before deciding to relocate to Colorado. With the mountains, great weather, and fun city, Dr. Hoelz is thrilled to call Denver home.
Always wanting to stay at the top of his field, Dr. Hoelz is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and holds memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists and Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.
When he is not straightening teeth, Dr. Hoelz enjoys spending time with his friends and loves to ski, hike, mountain bike, and camp in the mountains of Colorado. He also makes frequent trips back to Wisconsin to be with his family.
